THE PROSPERO LINKS PAGE

If you like fantasy art, this site is the business. Run by my friend Keith Savory.

Aleister Crowley

Channel 93 Webring
Uncle Al's one-stop website shop.

Astral Projection/Lucid Dreaming/Remote Viewing

RV Science
Tim Rifat is arguably the world's foremost expert on Remote Viewing. Apart from its political importance, this fascinating field offers a great deal of value to society in general. There is much about it on the web, of which a great deal is nonsense. Tim offers a clear view of the subject.
Wren's Brave New World
A fascinating site on astral projection and lucid dreaming.

Astrology

Company of Astrologers
After several years of messing about with astrology and not really getting it, I decided to learn it properly. I chose these people to teach me. A wise choice, as it turned out. A thorough approach, based in tradition but by no means stuffy or obscure. Based in London.
Delemme.com
A commercial site selling astrology software and offering free downloads of their basic programs. Covers Western and Chinese astrology.

Avalon/Glastonbury

Isle of Avalon
A wonderfully diverse site about a magical place in several senses of the word, and about the diverse people connected to it.

Discordian

The Unofficial Robert Anton Wilson Homepage
One of the most thought-provoking writers around. This guy changes lives!

Dreams

The Dream Emporium
A very comprehensive site covering all aspects of dreams.

Gnosticism

Gnosis
Plenty of information on this unusual belief system

Gurdjieff

Gurdjieff International Review
A very informative magazine/e-zine.
Gurdjieff Studies Group
A London-based group. A very informative site.
The Gurdjieff Teaching
An American site with much information to offer.

Humour/Satire

How Can You Laugh At A Time Like This?
American Libertarian/humour/general interest mag.

Kaballah

I should mention here that Kaballah was one of the major threads in Aleister Crowley's thought and the sites listed above connected with him include some fine stuff on the subject. Those listed here deal with the Tree of Life as their main subject.

The Hermit's Lair
This brilliant site includes a wonderful picture map of the Tree where clicking on a path or sphere leads to a description. I thought about doing something like this myself but The Hermit has done it better than I would know how to.
Will Parfitt
A very clear writer with an emphasis on psychological integration.

Meditation

Dark Zen
Meditation in the fast lane.
Osho
As you might gather from my comments on his Tarot deck, I find this man's work a joy. His work on meditation is wonderfully free of the mournful and tedious one-track approach which is so common in this field.

Motorcycles

Motorcycle Action Group
Apart from the political agenda, which every biker should know about, these people know how to party. If you need any further reason to join, I recommend you have a look at the discounts available on parts, insurance, etc

Narrowboats

Canal Craft
All sorts for anyone interested in the subject, including an excellent article for beginners.

Runes

Armanen Runes
A very sorted site offering a free six-lesson course. The emphasis is on using the Runes as more than just a divination tool.

Tarot

Paul Hughes Barlow
Another reader based in my home city of Brighton. Paul is a very original thinker with much to offer.
Salem Tarot
A great Tarot site but also worth a look for those more interested in Wicca.

Miscellaneous Occult/Psychic

The Alchemy Website and Virtual Library
Pretty much every aspect of alchemy is covered. There is a lot more to it than just primitive chemistry.
Freedom Now
Difficult to describe this one. Not exactly "occult" or "psychic" but also definitely not establishment. A system of self-therapy which is worthwhile for anyone with enough sentience to be reading it in the first place. Reminiscent of Wilhelm Reich and Ida Rolf but with the crucial difference that it is self-administered, needing no outer therapist. Warmly recommended.
DOME Center
If you like the book you'll love the site. If you don't know the book (The Inner Guide Meditation by Edwin C. Steinbrecher) it may not make much sense.
Psycom
Home to Koda, an original philosopher/psychic explorer/musician. Don't miss the Psychic Windows Technique.
SpiritWeb
A little of everything and an excellent first stop for all matters spiritual. This site has been going a long time and this is reflected in its quality.
